Maximized Living Doctor Chris Pellow Discusses Caffeine
22.04.2009 22:40:33

There are a lot of people out there trying to live a healthy lifestyle.  And for many people, living a healthy lifestyle means that they have to make a lot of changes.  It is simply easier to live life without regard to what is healthy so when you decide to care for your health it is likely that you will have to make some difficult changes.  One of the problems with this is that there are so many sources of information out there that it is difficult to know which advice to follow.  Maximized Living Doctor Chris Pellow provides a little insight on one area which many people have questions about – caffeine.

If you take a look at a few of the popular diets out there you will find a lot of contradicting suggestions about caffeine intake.  Some will say to avoid it altogether and other diets are based on taking caffeine pills.  Eliminating caffeine from your diet would probably be the healthiest thing you could do, but for some this is just impractical.  A diet should be a lifestyle change, meaning it should be something you are willing to implement into your way of life forever more.  As such, if you are a coffee person who absolutely loves a morning cup of Joe, perhaps you should keep the coffee in your new way of life.

The secret is to moderate what you do – anything taken to excess is unhealthy.  This being said, if you love coffee, try limiting your coffee to a cup or two in the morning.  This will give you something to look forward to when you awake.  The killer is actually soda – if you keep the coffee, try switching from soda to water.  By doing so, you will stay slimmer, have healthier teeth and even feel better once you get used to the switch.

Maximized Living Doctor Chris Pellow does not suggest depriving something you appreciate.  Caffeine can be helpful if taken in moderation, just do not drink coffee and soda non-stop throughout the day.
